Öykü Serter

The guiding concept for the kitchen we designed for our dear Öykü Serter was to reinterpret a space previously used for a different purpose through a minimalist, modern approach, creating a functional and comfortable living area. With building alterations kept to a minimum, a compact, functional kitchen was designed to make the most efficient use of the existing space. A balanced combination of white wood surfaces, an anthracite TV panel and natural light gave the interior an airy, contemporary character.

Making the most of the home's views and natural light, the design achieves visual cohesion through a light colour palette and contrasting dark surfaces. Completed with furniture reflecting Öykü's personal taste, the project expresses a simple, modern approach to living, reimagining a limited space with a careful balance of aesthetics and functionality.
