Çağla Şıkel

The guiding concept for the kitchen we designed for our dear Çağla Şıkel was to move beyond conventional decorating approaches and create a modern, stylish and functional living space. Brass details, a bold yet elegant shade of blue, the warmth of wood and simple lines were combined to give the interior a distinctive, inviting atmosphere. Natural textures used in the kitchen island and flooring created cohesion between the different areas of the kitchen, while the innovative approach brought a contemporary, refined feel to the space as a whole.

The details that made the project especially personal and meaningful were the bespoke references to the homeowner's life and values. Custom-made North Star handles alluding to her children and planet-shaped lights evoking outer space gave the design a unique identity. Shaped by a balanced combination of aesthetics, functionality and personal details, this kitchen reflects a distinctive, timeless design approach that responds to the needs of modern living.
