Functional Spaces Will Leave Their Mark on 2026

In the September-October issue of Decor Magazine, we evaluated the evolving design trends of 2026 and the future of homes with our founder and interior designer, Çiğdem Yalçın. As Yasmina Interior Design, we emphasize that following the years ruled by minimalism, spaces are now transforming into areas that are not just stylish, but tell a story, evoke a sense of lived-in experience, and establish an emotional connection.

In our new era designs, we move homes beyond merely being shelters; we configure them as multifunctional living spaces that respond to the needs of entertainment, relaxation, and socialization. While making sustainability, eco-friendly, and pet-friendly materials the fundamental building blocks of our designs, we create peaceful atmospheres with warm earth tones inspired by nature, such as beige, sand, and olive green. Leaving behind the stereotyped concept of the "perfect" space, we continue to transform every home into a living area that tells its owner's story by blending aesthetics and functionality with individuality.
